Our people are our success – now we need you to find, develop, and keep them! Join Mynewsdesk as Global Human Resources Manager
Mynewsdesk is expanding rapidly and we are now establishing a Human Resources Department based in Stockholm, Sweden. At Mynewsdesk we are driving growth in our home market, but also expanding internationally. Your role will be to support management in recruitment, people development and retention, and support our entrepreneurial organization with advice and HR structure.
We strongly believe in something we call “the 3 Ps,” which has made our company successful thus far: great People, a great Product, and a great Place to work. It is the innovation, determination, and focus of our people that has driven our growth. This will be the key to our future global expansion as well. This means that you and your team (1 person today) will be key to our success.
As our HR Manager – or People Manager, as we like to call it – you will lead, develop and execute our global HR strategies, policies, and practices. In other words – you should have a proven ability to make things happen, mentor others, and get results. All activities should be in line with the company's policies and values, both locally and globally. You will be a member of the Global Management Team.
Key responsibilities
• Develop global HR strategies, policies, structures, and practices to attract, select, retain, and develop (key) resources – in accordance with corporate values.
• Ensure HR-related framework, tools, and methods are linked to current and future business strategies
• Lead assigned projects according to agreed parts of the business plan
• Provide leadership training and support to equip both managers and staff with required competence levels
• Develop and empower managers in their people management functions
• Develop and lead recruitment strategies and support Talent Management and succession planning within areas of responsibility
• Own, develop, and spread company values
Key requirements
You are a business-oriented HR professional, but also believe that all people can achieve far beyond expectations with the right motivation and leadership. You thrive on seeing people grow and want to be a part of that journey.
You have a proven track record and a genuine toolkit within HR. You are comfortable working in a global environment and are used to fast growing, cost-efficient companies. This sometimes chaotic and lean environment is something you thrive in as your leadership and hands-on skills will be utilized to their best. You also have the ability to be an advisor to management and have a strong understanding, and preferably experience, of change management.
Requirements
• University degree in HR management or equivalent
• Minimum five (5) years of HR management work in an international environment
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• A genuine interest and passion for business and people
Meriting
• Experience in successfully building and developing corporate values and company and company culture in a young, dynamic, and international organization
• A multicultural mindset – understanding and beig interested in the subtle nuances or differences present in an international community.
Personal characteristics
• Good self-esteem and self-reliance – you know what you want, what your skills are, and you prioritize your own growth continuously
• Change agent
• High energy level and drive
• Likes to have fun!
We are looking forward to get your application as soon as possible. If any questions, please call/email Therese Birnstingl, HR Project Manager, at 0704-97 01 93 / therese@mynewsdesk.com .
