Job description
The primary responsibility of this position is to be responsible for procurement of external services, execution of sourcing plans, actively run tendering, negotiations and contracting. You will work in close cooperation with internal stakeholders. The work tasks also include developing category strategies and procurement plans. Developing of contracted suppliers is also a focus-area for this position. You will report directly to Director Strategic Sourcing.
Requested competence
We are looking for a person who has approximately 4-5 years of experience of strategic purchasing within a global manufacturing company and University degree within Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Business Administration or similar. You have experience in purchasing industrial equipment or mechanical engineering and therefore good technical understanding. In this role it is required that you are proficient in English - written and spoken. Knowledge in Swedish is an advantage. International background or experience, especially from Asia, is a great merit.
As a person you are self-motivated, business-minded, results-oriented and curious with an eagerness to continue to learn and develop. You also possess the ability to work independently without strict guidelines in a dynamic environment. You have strong negotiation skills, strong social skills and easily build successful relationships with stakeholders as well as colleagues.
