Create inspiring and well-scaffolded units of music studies for students of various ages and abilities.
Create an inspiring and well-structured learning environment in which the teacher is the clear leader of the classroom and where the students can thrive.
Create assessment tasks that are relevant for students and which are based on clearly established success criteria.
Plan, organize and perform three concerts per year together with students (welcoming ceremony, Christmas holiday concert, and end of year ceremony)
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and create inspiring interdisciplinary learning activities for students.
Be an engaged mentor for 16 students and collaborate with the other mentors of the same grade level to help build classes into communities.
Be able to teach in English.
Balance the IB and Swedish national curricula with guidance from management and fellow teachers.

Europaskolan is an independent Swedish primary and secondary school with an international heart located in the center of Stockholm. The school was founded in 1998 and has been authorized by the International Baccalaureate® (IB) to teach the PYP (Primary Years Program) and MYP (Middle Years program) since 2007. Varaktighet, arbetstid
This job is a one year substitute for our current art teacher who will be on maternity leave during the 2019/2020 academic year. It is a "ferietjänst" which is the standard form of teaching employment both internationally and in Sweden.
