hela Sverige Internationella Engelska Skolan i Järfälla is an independent middle school, grades 6-9, consisting of 480 students. The campus is located in Jakobsberg in the municipality of Järfälla, 20 kilometers north of Stockholm along the commuter train line. The school is characterized by its international climate and lessons are conducted in both English and Swedish. The school believes in focusing on the learning process, academic achievement, and individual character development. Students learn to take personal responsibility for their progress and for their school environment as well as developing respect for their peers, their teachers, and themselves.

Job description:
Music teacher: Language of instruction is English and follows the Swedish curriculum and our local academic plan. Students work individually and in small groups. Most classes involve 15 students and lessons are 90 minutes per week. The music facility is purpose built, spacious and fully equipped featuring guitars, keyboards and percussion equipment.
Qualifications:
We request that you are a certified music teacher preferably with middle school experience. Masterful command of English is obligatory. Fluency of Swedish is valued. We are looking for applicants who are dynamic and enthusiastic teachers capable of using creativity to share their knowledge.
