Inter IKEA Culture Center AB has been established to build up an IKEA Museum in the first IKEA Store in Älmhult. Inter IKEA Culture Center AB will operate both the IKEA Museum and IKEA Tillsammans.
ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a Museum photographer who will be part of the team that builds up the IKEA museum. Today there is a small exhibition located in IKEA Tillsammans, ?IKEA through the ages? which describes the chronological design and business development of the IKEA business.
YOUR ASSIGNMENT
You are a part of the unit which is responsible for planning, designing and producing exhibition objects for the museum. You coordinate and produce photos and films that will be shown in the exhibition and used graphically.
You digitalise the artefacts in the collection and organise and take care of photo/film archive. You document events, interviews, exhibitions etc.
YOUR PROFILE
You need education in photo and film and 4-5 years of experience working with photo and films within the museum sector and you have worked with several exhibitions. You also have knowledge in how to treat photo and film in an archive in a long lasting perspective.
You should have good knowledge in Swedish and English.
You are result oriented and well organised. You have an open mind for ideas and proposals from other persons and enjoy working in a team. You communicate in an open and straightforward manner and transform feedback into actions.
