Work on a highly intelligent, lightweight and motivated team to achieve our goal of revolutionizing the combustion engine with Freevalve technology.
A Freevalve technician plays a vital role in validating cutting-edge hardware, building record-breaking engines and helping create a solid foundation of processes to propel the company through major growth.

Responsibilities:

Build Freevalve engines, dyno equipment, and vehicle installations
Work closely with engineers to build test setups and assist during testing
Help perform part inspections, quality checks and part organization
Provide accurate feedback to engineers for hardware and production process improvement
Learn basic mechanical concepts to understand reasoning behind each test or assembly
Basic Qualifications:

Basic fabrication, machining and welding experience
Strong understanding of vehicle/engine systems and operating modes
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and/or electrical systems
Be eager to learn and act as constructive member of fast-paced team

Preferred Skills and Experience:

Hands-on experience with engine dyno / vehicle installations
Some experience working with precision assemblies / tools
Basic electrical systems knowledge (wiring practices, harness building, etc)
Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings or test procedures
History of personal projects during which these skills were developed

As a development technician in a small and growing company, you will be doing a little bit of everything to assist hardware development, software, and calibration team. This job grants a large amount of freedom and responsibility, and at times that will mean long hours and pressure to achieve results.
