Role description
The Unibet QA Department is dedicated to verify the quality of the continuous delivery to production. To do so we are managing the functional, non-functional and end-to-end test automation efforts in our production like test environments.
Within the QA department and responsibility area we are now extending our capabilities to have a more comprehensive approach, including assessing the quality in production in terms of monitoring as an integrated part of the QA activities and processes.
Our vision is to have a world class monitoring platform covering the entire stack from User Experience monitoring to Infrastructure device monitoring. And to achieve this, we are now searching for a Monitoring Lead to create a strategy and roadmap to make this happen.
The role involves a lot of interaction and coordination with various departments within the IT organization. You will be working together with highly skilled professionals from all over the world, in a very interactive, fast moving and fun environment.
There will be some infrequent travel associated with the role.
Key accountabilities of this role are.
• Create a culture where monitoring is an integrated part
• Participate and lead activities to choose technical stack and product, build a knowledge base around relevant services and standards to keep up with the -developments within this area
• Budget and resource allocation
• Build, maintain and prioritize a backlog of Monitoring requirements
• Coordinate a virtual monitoring team with resources from our core competence teams
• Create and maintain documentation for monitoring configuration, mapping, processes and service records
