Transformers is a business unit within ABB's Power Grids division. The business unit manufactures power transformers, reactors and transformer components. The unit also supplies electrical insulation materials, fiber composite materials, machined and welded components. You will be part of Transformer Service. Transformer Service performs advanced services to industries, utilities and OEMs around the world. Our offers help customers to optimize their transformer fleet by mitigating risks for malfunction, improve performance and ensure expected life.
Tasks:
As Monitoring Engineer, you will be applying strong application technology knowledge and expertise to any application IS activity within all IS process domains, especially within BUILD and RUN to support global business needs and to help solving difficult topics. You will advise and implement existing IS application technology and IS solutions/services, sharing knowledge and guiding others on implementation and operation, using understanding of existing IS application technology and business requirement.
Requirements:
You have experience from HTML/JavaScript, Visual Studio, VB.net, and SQL, and communication protocols: Modus, CAN, DNP3, and IEC61850. Other competence: networks, electronics, transformer knowledge. It is essential that you are a proactive and flexible professional, capable of working independently. You take responsibility and contribute with your customer-focused mindset, as well as with your ability to influence and make a difference. Proficiency in both English and Swedish are a must.
