We currently have the following job opening;
Module Team Director Brake Systems, Wheels & Tyres
As Module Team Director for Brake Systems, Wheels & Tyres you will be responsible for both components, functions and software globally, in Sweden and China.
Your challenge
We are currently developing a new platform for future C-segment cars, addressing the needs of both Volvo Cars and Geely Auto. Together with your employees you need to continuously strengthen the organization and its ability to deliver products that meet our customer's expectations.
The module contains of mechanical components, function- and software development including the new System Safety standard (ISO26262). The integration of parts from approximately 30 supplier's world wild is a challenge that require both know how and leadership skills. Your organization consists of approximately 60 people in both Sweden and China.
In your role as Module Team Director you report directly to VP Chassis and Safety Electronics. You are a part of Chassis management team where you contribute with your knowledge and also gets support in your daily work.
Your profile and background
We are looking for you that have experience of product development in large organizations, preferably automotive. Positive are previous leadership experience as a manager and project leader. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia is also important factors to be successful.
You use your knowledge and your leadership skills to inspire and through engagement create commitment in the organization. You enjoy working both operationally and strategically.
To be successful in the role, it is important that you are positive, take initiative, work well with other people, and show both self-confidence and good judgment when making statements and taking decisions. You understand the importance in creating good team spirit and enjoy building strong teams.
Suitable theoretical background is master of science within mechanical engineering or similar.
