We currently have the following job opening;
Module Team Director - Closures
The Closures department is responsible for the development of doors, hoods, fenders, sealing systems and closure hardware for all Lync & co cars developed in Sweden at CEVT. As Module Team Director you will be the responsible line manager for Closures and you will be a member of the Body & Exterior management team and play an important role in the future global development of the area both in Sweden and China.
Your Challenge
We are currently developing new platforms and new top hats for vehicles based on these architectures. Our responsibility covers all phases from concept development and industrialization to start of serial production. Together with your team of system managers, senior managers, system engineers and design engineers you will have the full functional responsibility for developing the Closure systems to all of our ongoing and coming projects. Your team consists of roughly 45 people distributed between two group managers and other direct reports. You will report to the Vice President for Body & Exterior.
Your skills and experience
We are looking for you who have experience of product development, preferably within automotive. You should have documented leadership capabilities and experience. Cultural awareness, specifically between Europe and Asia is also an important factor to be successful.
You are an inspiring leader who creates commitment in the organization through personal engagement and excellent communication skills. You enjoy working operationally with a strong product focus.
To be successful in the role, it is important that you are positive, take initiative, work well with other people, and show both self-confidence and good judgment when making statements and taking decisions.
Suitable theoretical background is master of science within mechanical engineering or similar.
