Supply Chain Operations, Capital Equipment is responsible for the manufacture and supply of filling machines and distribution equipment from receipt of order until performance is achieved at the customer's site.
Module Purchasing is responsible for managing and optimizing our Module Supplier base for producing modules or complete machines for Tetra Pak Packaging Solutions portfolio of Filling Machines and Distribution Equipment.
We are now looking for a Module Purchasing Manager to manage the Module Purchasing, including filling equipment and MTM activities. You will actively work with securing the development of the staff, developing and implementing commodity strategies for module suppliers and securing that prices, costs, quality issues and the delivery of goods are timely updated, optimized and within expectations.
This position can be based either in Lund, Sweden or Modena, Italy and requires travelling of up to 50 %.
Main responsibilities:
• Secure Risk Management of module suppliers following the process established
• Ensure that all type of contracts with Module Suppliers are timely signed and fulfilled
• Own and manage commercial supplier relations for Module Suppliers
• Secure and maintain a supplier base in line with business requirements
• Ensure compliance vs. Contract and Commodity Strategies
• Secure infrastructure to Store and Share data properly (Legal requirements, Customer / Supplier requirements, Minimise administrative workload)
• Consolidate & Monitor, Analyse and Report business results
• Secure team members follow process compliance for Sourcing, Contracting and Supplier base management activities
• Implement WCM as the way of working within Module Purchasing
• Secure the consistency of our products and conformity to regulatory and legal requirements
• Secure that module suppliers buy components from imposed component suppliers at the prices and conditions negotiated by Tetra Pak
• Secure having the needed quantity and competences of resources in place to manage expected operations
Publiceringsdatum2012-04-19KvalifikationerYou have a university degree in engineering or an MBA and at least 8 years of technical and/or commercial experience from similar tasks; especially involving building and keeping supplier relationships and creating long-term partnerships. Special attention will be paid to candidates with experience from large international companies.
The successful candidate has proven excellence in people management and a high level of energy and motivational skills. You are able to influence at all levels of an organization and are driving and decisive with a structured holistic view.
The job requires intense international travelling and fluency in both written and spoken English is therefore mandatory.
