Right now we are looking for a Module owner Design engineer for our front module on the cabs to our Operator environment Haulers and Wheel loaders team.
The module owner role is to take the long term view and secure deliveries of the module all the way from planning to end of life.

What we need you to do
With a product lifecycle mindset, you drive, create and secure delivery of correctly, completely and clearly documented design solutions. The aim is to produce design solutions that balance technical performance, manufacturability and material cost to ensure that the product will be profitable for Volvo CE, and that we are considered as the No 1 choice by our customers.
What do you bring with you?
You are a true team player who also can work individually. You have a natural understanding of the customer needs. You are a solution-oriented person with the ability to see the bigger picture. You have a structured approach to handle documentation on everything from ways of working to technical requirements. You have experience from hardware design, preferably related to glass, sheet metal design and or plastic. You have experience from engineering tools, like CAD and PLM. What you don't know today, you are eager and willing to learn. To be successful in this role you need to be a good communicator and have the ability to work cross functional and in multicultural teams.
Who are you?
You have a structured approach and are used to work as a part of a team, responsible for your deliveries. Challenges, you see as opportunities, and you also enjoy working together with people.
Preferably M.Sc or B.Sc, with a couple of years of experience from design work in interior and or exterior parts.
