System engineering- system verification/valdation and machine safety
Be part in developing the future generation of heavy industrial trucks - welcome to the exciting industry of non-road mobile machinery. Industrial trucks contain a huge variety of technologies, such as powertrains, electric drives, electric energy storage, hydraulics, vehicle automation, HMI/GUI, machine control, and digitalization. We work in a global environment, with people in Sweden, Italy, France and China, and partners all over the world.
In this role you are responsible for verification and validation of new development, all the way from critical components, subsystems and complete industrial trucks. This work is done in close collaboration with external partners such as notified bodies, suppliers, and customers. You will also own and develop related processes and tools.
In this role, you shall have:
MSc in engineering physics/electrical/machinery, or BSc with documented relevant work experience.
Broad technical skills in vechicle related areas, such as vehicle dynamics, machine control, powertrain, hydraulics, safety systems
Demonstrated skills in machine safety and technical risk assessment.
Skills and genuine interest in reading and interpretating international product standards, and to transfer these to product design requirements. Potential to participate in standardization committees.
Skills in formal verification (planning, execution, reporting)
Skills in reliability engineeing
Skills in industrial vehicle related engineering fields, such as mechanics, powertrain, electric drives, hydraulics, battery technology for EV applications.
Personal characteristics:
As a person you are easy going and enjoy working both in teams and individually. You are analytical, structured and goal oriented, yet innovative and able to find solutions in new ways while keeping focus on customer value and market needs. You must also be able to switch focus from high level system perspective to detailed technical issues. You are keen to learn continuously and apply new technology and methods. You must be able to express yourself at a professional level in speech and writing, and be fluent in English.
