Mobile radio engineer with in-depth radio competence in 2G/3G/4G, with focus on radio network performance and complex troubleshooting.
Youbecome a part of:
Service Management Centre (SMC) in Network Operation a part of the Network division, who is responsible for E2E-service monitoring and maintaining all services active for our customers. Network Operation’s main goal is to safeguard our customers’ services and to improve our service quality to exceed the market standards for customer satisfaction.
You will be accountable for:
As Radio Engineer in SMC you will be the main responsible and expertise, from an operational viewpoint, for radio network performance analysis. In addition you will be undertaking own, as well as coordinating partners in, complex trouble shooting. You will also be requesting to our developing units improvements of network design and parameter adjustments in order to optimize performance, based on operational findings.
Your daily work typically covers the following activities:
• Analyze trend on network statistics, KPIs and performance measurements and actively questioning of deviant network performance
• Request actions from developing units and partners, to improve customer quality by e.g. upgrades, parameter settings etc.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting in radio network, support troubleshooting in other parts of network (e.g. Core and transport) and conduct partners in joint analysis
• Governance on partners in escalations of faults
• Evaluate new quality of experience and service monitoring tools and typically be a super user during trial and implementation into Operations
• Being able to act as incident manager for radio faults
• Guidance and training to our NOC
Your competence:
• A MSc/BSc degree in Engineering from Telecom or equivalent technical degree
• Extensive experience from Radio Engineering at a Telecom Operator or a OEM vendor in planning, optimization and fault management
• Advanced competence in GSM, UMTS and LTE networks
• It is positive if you have project management experience and international assignments
• Fluent in English language, both written and spoken
