If you are a Mobile and Web Application Developer ready to take the next step and be the lead developer for a niched social network, read on!
We are looking for an independent and confident Mobile and Web Application Developer with a strong sense of aesthetics and an eye for good design.
You will be leading the mobile and web development in order to build a social networking app from the ground up. Since we are a small but growing team, we need team members that are versatile, disciplined and enjoy being part of something BIG!
What You Will Be Doing
• Lead Development of our iOS, Android and web platform app
• Take ownership of delivery of mobile and web applications
• Develop back-end services and Web APIs for mobile apps and integrate back-end authentication, push notification, storage and data services into mobile apps
• Work with outside data sources and APIs
What You Need For This Role
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• 1-5 years of software development experience with at least few months of iOS/Android development experience
• Hands-on Android iOS SDK experience engineering, releasing, and supporting mobile applications
• Knowledge of web technologies (REST, JSON, XML, HTML, CSS, PHP or ASP)
• Mobile phone application development (Android, J2ME, Java, C#)
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (Facebook, Google, Twitter etc)
• Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
• Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
• Able to work on own initiative, needs only general direction
• Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data structures and algorithms
NICE TO HAVE:
• Experience working with small and fast growing start-ups
• Gaming or social network background
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum Development Methodology
