Mavshack is a subscription-based SVOD service (Streaming Video On Demand) primarily targeting the diaspora from the Philippines and India. The streaming service was launched in 2013 and offers a wide selection of Filipino and Indian television shows and movies. With global licensing agreements and regional partners in the Middle East, North America and Southeast Asia, Mavshack has managed to become a truly global player in the streaming market.
Mavshack is now looking for _one_ or _two_ multi-talented developers with solid skills in either Android or IOS development - if you can expertly handle both then all the better. You will be part of the development team in Stockholm and the primary mobile developer(s) in the company.
Mavshack has a few versions of apps today, a number that will most likely grow exponentially in the near future. You will be responsible for developing our apps, a task that includes both architecture, implementation and testing.
Our apps need continuous updating to utilize and support functionality in our streaming products.
You will also be key to providing technical input to the rest of the company with regards to the capabilities of mobile platforms and any opportunities for the rest of the products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop the Android and/or IOS apps, and in the future Windows Phone as well as Smart-TV apps for Mavshack.
Ensuring the quality of the Apps by implementing tools and processes for testing
Advise and assist the rest of the company in regards to app development and functionality requirements
Be the central authority on mobile development and web development for mobile handsets and other smart devices
Be a part of the Swedish development team and you'll be working from Stockholm
Interact with and assist the rest of the development team with advice as they develop content for mobile handsets

The development team is currently a small team consisting of a few key people. We work closely with the rest of the company and are ramping up and moving our external parts into the company. We appreciate a working environment with a flat management structure, an informal tone and room for differences. Our headquarters are located in Stockholm.
