SSC Satellite Management Services (SaMS) is now hiring a Proposal/Project Lead for the Mission Solutions team within SaMS Engineering.
• Mission Solutions is a global team that provides technical support to the SaMS sales teams i.e. proposal development and other support related to identified opportunities as well as project management for contracted services and internal projects. The position reports to the Manager, Mission Solutions.
Your responsibilities:
• Leading the proposal team and developing the complete proposal based on the requirements specified by the customer
• Leading the project team and coordinating the activities of partners and working groups engaged in project work
• Managing project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
• Monitoring project progress and performance and providing status reports to Senior Management
You have/are:
• Driven and people oriented, with first class leadership and motivational skills
• Solution oriented with excellent time management and communication skills
• Two years of experience working in proposal development or project management
• Two years working as an engineer in a technical / development setting and/or a bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field is desired
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project and SharePoint
The successful candidate will work out of the SSC Space US office in Horsham, PA or the SSC office in Kiruna, Sweden.
Candidate must be an US Citizen to work in the US offices. EU citizenship with an approved working permit is required to work at the Swedish offices.
