Mine planning engineer
To the Kankberg Mine
Are you an engineer who wants to be a part of our vision to be the most climate friendly metal provider in the world? We are interested in learning more about you and look forward to your application.
Duties
As a mine planning engineer, your primary task is to deliver short-term production plans and activity planning. You are involved in the daily management and analyze production results. Part of the work is to maintain our drilling rig navigation system. In the role, there is space and time to participate in development and improvement projects related to the Kankberg mine.
The position is located in Kankberg about 9 kilometers from Boliden. The working hours are daytime, office working hours.
Education and other qualifications
You have a good ability to work in a group as you collaborate with e.g. production supervisors and maintenance planners. You have good analytical skills and are meticulous. You do not need to have several years of experience, we are looking for you who have a drive and interest in developing within the mining industry.
To be eligible for the position, you must have an Engineering degree. If you have a degree within mining or rock technology, it is a merit. It is also advantageous if you have experience with Microsoft office and Deswik.
The work requires that you can express yourself well in English both in writing and orally. If you don't know swedish that is fine we will provide education in the swedish language. B driving license is a requirement.
