Mindwell is extending the Back Office consultancy area and we are looking for experienced system specialists in the areas of Clearing, Settlement, CSD integration and Back Office STP processing for
both securities and OTC products.
Previous experience from systems like Calypso, Murex, FRONT ARENA, OMX Wizer, Secur and AbaSec/Ababos is an advantage.
Back Office System Specialist
We are looking for experienced system specialists in the OTC and Securities Back Office areas to join our Business Consulting team with specific focus on helping clients reshape their Back Office
processing and implement new system solutions. The specialist role would include tasks and responsibilities such as:
• Business requirement analysis- collecting and structuring the client's requirements in the initial phases of the implementation of a new BO system solution.
• System implementation and configuration - leading and facilitating the process of installing and configuring a new BO system to meet the client's business requirements. This could include a wide
range of different responsibilities:
• Managing the various stages of the roll-out and go-live process
• Helping clients set up or migrate business data to a new system- this includes setting up counterparty data, account structures, legal entity relations, custody information, document
templates etc.
• Defining rules and workflows for automated transaction processing (STP configuration)
• Configuring clearing and settlement processes to comply with regional CSD requirements.
• Supporting users in the learning process and ensuring that the client organisation realize the full potential of the system investment
• Advisory services - providing best-practice experiences to assist the decision making throughout the system implementation project.
Your profile
You have substantial experience from working with Back Office systems with in-depth understanding of the underlying system technology as well as the workflows and financial transactions processed by
the Back Office operation.
You have excellent communication skills and you see complex challenges as an opportunity to grow personally and professionally.
You take a hands-on approach to solving problems, combining system and application skills with business knowledge to suggest and implement solutions.
Mindwell's Back Office consulting will primarily address clients in Scandinavia so the ability to travel and engage in assignments in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Helsinki but also in other main cities
of Europe is considered an advantage. We may also offer permanent positions in Copenhagen during 2008.
