To Siemens Financial Services (SFS) with office in Umea we are looking for a
Middle Ticket & Specialist Risk Manager
As a proactively managing the Middle Ticket & Specialist Risk Team in the Sweden with direct reports, reporting to the Head of Risk Vendor Flow Sweden. Responsible for all MT & Specialist Risk underwriting and tracking team performance against target.
What are my responsibilities?
Manage the work flow and resourcing of the Vendor Flow Middle Ticket & Specialist Risk Team (incorporating growth initiatives including Managed Service, Broker & Block Discounting business).
Responsible for making and facilitating credit decisions by assessing all aspects of risk associated with MT & Specialist Risk proposals submitted by the SFS Vendor Flow division
Underwriting new business transactions within personal delegated authority levels and in line with Group policy
To make recommendations to higher authority where outside personal underwriting authority,
People management including: staff dialogues and development reviews, target setting and performance management when required.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
5 years experience in asset finance/leasing risk management, including experience in underwriting and processing middle ticket and complex transactions. 2 years in a team leader/management role preferred
Strong analytical skills, organisational and time management skills
Ability to manage and motivate direct reports
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
In depth understanding of financial statements, principles of lending & credit policy based decision making
