We are looking for a Technical Solution & PI Manager and microwave expert to our Microwave Product Introduction team to work with introduction of our new MINI-LINK products to the market.
Microwave backhaul technology plays a significant role in providing reliable mobile network performance to support both the evolution of LTE and the introduction of 5G. To fully support the requirements from the 5G networks we have introduced several new products in the market-leading MINI-LINK portfolio. With an extensive portfolio and more than 600 customers in over 160 countries we need to strengthen or capabilities to successfully bring the new product to the market.
Job Summary:
You will be a part of the Microwave Product Introduction team responsible for a successful introduction of new microwave products to customers and their networks. Our main responsibility is to manage product introduction activities such as PoC, Trials, TAcc & Demos to secure new contracts and orders. This includes everything from development of test and demo cases, that is used to showcase new products and functionality, to participating in activities with selected customers. Customer demos, tests and other activities take place in our test facilities in Gothenburg or at Ericsson or customer premises abroad. We have developed well working routines to safely and effectively perform the test and demo remotely, but regular travelling is normally a part of the work.
MINI-LINK is an important component in an LTE and 5G end to end offering. To understand technical requirements and be able to work with other products, such as Router 6000, included in a mobile backhaul solution is essential for our success. Co-operation with other parts of our organization is therefore an important part of the daily work.
To understand how new functionality is implemented in the product you will also work closely with our engineers in the R&D organization.
Responsibilities:
Take part in PI engagements, with customers and CU/Market Area representatives, including PoC, TAcc, Demos and Trials.
Proactively work with R&D to understand coming features and functionalities and together with them prepare demo and test cases as well as customer solutions.
As a Senior Solution Manager and MINI-LINK expert, you will take part in technical discussions, workshops, presentations, and other activities with our customers.
Closely interact with R&D, PL Transport and Sales Support to secure smooth and responsive product introduction to specific customers.
Develop demo cases that is used to showcase new products and functionalities in our MINI-LINK products

Key Qualifications:
BSc level in a technical discipline (Telecommunications, Computer Science or equivalent) or the equivalent level of knowledge
Deep technical Microwave knowledge. Minimum five years of experience from Microwave deign or testing
Well documented knowledge in Ethernet and IP/MPLS
Understanding of RAN networks including Mobile Backhaul Solutions
Fluent English language skills, both written and spoken
Ability to communicate effectively in writing
Documented presentation and argumentation skills
High accomplishment skills - follow through on committed actions
Experience with customer situations
The right person for the job should be passionate, collaborative, customer-oriented and used to work in an international environment

International travel will be required on a regularly basis.
