Gotmic AB is about to expands within millimeter-wave MMIC design and is therefore seeking a highly motivated and skilled MMIC designer. The work will include design of millimeter-wave MMICs (+50 GHz) as well as measurement and characterization of these. You will be actively involved in the full development cycle of our products including working within the company and with our customers on specifications and technical issues. The work will also incorporate application support and pre and after sales technical support.
Job description:
• Design of microwave and millimeter wave MMICs
• Measurement and characterization of above
• Develop and evaluate models, both active and passive models.
• Write and develop product documentation such as requirement specifications and
verification procedures to be utilized in product development procedures
• Technical discussions within the company and with customers on existing and
future products
• Customer support and development of application documents
Qualifications:
• A PhD or relevant degree is preferred
• Very good knowledge of commercial microwave CAD tools
• ADS, Momentum, HFSS etc
• Experience in millimeter wave MMIC design (+50 GHz)
• Proven track record of several designs as main responsible
designer. Min 3 year experience
• Experience in power amplifier design is mandatory
• Experience of measurements above 50 GHz
• Including on-wafer measurements and
• Waveguide based measurements
• Familiar with device characterization and modeling of both active and passive
devices.
• Experience in MATLAB is desirable
• Fluent in English is mandatory
• Working knowledge of Swedish is desirable
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office
• Self-motivated and pro-active personality
