What you will be a part of
Future Sensor Systems is responsible for our extensive initiatives within Multi-Functional Radar systems and fighter Radar system. In addition the division will support the business divisions with resources and technical expertise. Its performance will be measured and evaluated according to product profitability, quality, time and cost. 
Departmant Develop & Integrate Microwave Subsystem is responsible for the microwave subsystems within Future Sensor Systems. This includes technology strategies, design and verification of microwave subsystems, microwave design, antenna design and measurements. The department are also Competence Centers for Antenna Technology as well for New Microwave Technology. The department have approximately 70 employees divided into 6 units.Section Microwave Design is responsible for all new microwave designs within EDS Sweden. They are also responsible for design & test of our advanced microwave parts such as Power amplifier, HFG, RX and traditional microwave designs. There is a strong connection to the MMIC design & technology strategies section.

Your role
As design engineer within the section Microwave Design you will be working with a wide range of development projects covering new cutting edge technology as well as more traditional RF designs. The work will include all steps in the product development including background studies, simulations, component selection and design verification. A lot of time will be spent hands on in our well-equipped microwave lab. Travels will occur occasionally. You will report to the manager of Microwave Design section.
To be successful in your role as design engineer you need to have an appropriate professional qualification or Master's degree in microwave design. You must be communicative and be able to Co-operate with people covering a wide variety of design disciplines.
