The quality department is looking for a Metrology Manager to maintain and strengthen our position as a supplier of high precision instrumentation for Level measurement. You will be working closely with system architects, product managers and engineers as well as external parties such as customers and authorities within the area of metrology.
Responsibilities
In the role as Metrology Manager you apply measurement science, statistics, mathematics and physics to develop, document and maintain procedures and methods for electrical, dimensional, physical, mechanical and environmental testing and verification based on accuracy and precision requirements.
You work closely supporting system architects and product managers to ensure that our products meet applicable industry- and metrology standards and you take active part in ensuring that products are designed to meet customer expectations for installed accuracy both in development projects and technology studies.
As a metrology expert, you review and evaluate new calibration methods and procedures, recommend calibration standards, measurement and test equipment and ensures that verification and testing practices meet applicable standards. You develop and carry out training to increase the organizations skills within the area of Metrology. You host visits and meetings related to product metrology approvals, including market specific requirements, and take part in industry standards development where applicable.
You have a Master of Science degree, preferably within the area of Physics or Electronical Engineering, and you have at least 5 years of experience working within the area of metrology.
You are fluent in English and Swedish, both spoken and written, and you have good skills in Metrology, Mathematics, Computers, Electrical Engineer and Statistics (including MSA and GR&R).
If you have experience in Advanced electronics, Microwave Engineering and Advanced statistical tools (ANOVA, DOE), that's preferred but not required.
You have high customer focus, excellent communication skills and like cooperating in a cross functional environment. As a person, you instill trust in others and makes sound decision based on a combination of facts and good judgement.
