Virtual manufacturing engineering & operational process lead, is a group within VCME Trim & Final department 81400.
Our main task within the operational part is to develop, educate and maintain Manufacturing Engineering processes connected to GPDS and VCMS. Our vital strategic targets are: Lean Engineering, Standardized processes, Reduced Waste and Competent Engineers.
We are looking for a Method Developer ( operational processes), which is a qualified person with broad experience in the method and process area. Well oriented in process development methodology. As a Method Developer you are suppose to lead and develop operational process task within scope of Trim & Final or Manufacturing Engineering in total.
The Operational Developer Coordinator delivers in accordance to tasks defined by 81400 management team or prioritized needs for 81000.
Main responsibilities:
Define and maintain operational processes within frame of process owner Trim & Final
Develop and implement operational processes on behalf of process owners and operating manager
Responsible to develop and maintain specific education material within Trim & Final
Manage training (act as trainer) in ME education set up's
Lead and facilitate brainstorming activities within scope of operational development
Support process Operating Manager and Processchampinion Trim & Final
Competence Requirements:
University degree or similar
Deep experience in both development and implementation of new working methods and processes
High analytical skills, preferably Black Belt competence
High level of communication skill and presentation techniques
High level of pedagogic skills e.g. e-learning set up's and composes of illustrations
English, fluent in writing and speech
Desired competence:
Preferably good understanding in VCMS systems
Preferably good knowledge and experience of the Manufacturing engineering workmethods within any of the Body, Paint, Trim & Final and Geometry areas
Personal profile:
Positive and strong proactive attitude
Strong ability for cross functional and multi cultural teamwork
Willing to challenge the organization within the task
Like to talk in front of groups and management teams
The ability to give holistic view for the specific task
Like to take the role as moderator
