Job description:
We are now looking for a Method and Technology Leader to join our team. On our team, we develop and maintain IT system within the product data management (PDM) and purchasing area. Our main customer is Volvo Car Corporation.
You will lead the function Method and Technology. This is an important function that supports the delivery team to improve capability, quality in delivery, efficiency and cost.
As leader for the function Method and Technology you will be responsible for identifying, analyzing and implementing new method and routines related to the IT development process. You will secure that we are aligned to customer and Volvo IT policies. You will lead the change in areas such as; Change management (CM), Requirement Management, Test Management.
Furthermore you will be responsible for identifying and following up new technologies. Analyze how they affect our delivery and if necessary lead the implementation work, for example technology platforms such as, Databases, Mainframe, .NET, PHP and JAVA.
Who are you?
We want you to have experience from similar assignments. You should have general knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process and have academic qualifications within relevant field of expertise.
You are motivated to drive change and you have a technology interest (more as a generalist rather than specialist).You also have excellent command of spoken and written Swedish and English.
We are searching for a person who has a genuine interest in Change management, Organizational development, IT development process and Technology platforms.
