Overview
We are looking for a Mergers & Acquisitions Director to strengthen the M&A team at Essity.
The M&A team is a functional expert team with objective to lead M&A projects with M&A resources in a professional manner. We act as internal specialists to ensure a smooth, efficient and reliable transaction process. The M&A team is part of the Strategy and Business Development corporate staff function.
We offer an international environment where you will operate through global networks in the countries where Essity is represented. This position is located at the Essity head office in Stockholm and the position reports to Vice President M&A.






Main Tasks
Take an active part in Essity's execution of M&A transactions
Lead M&A projects including due diligence, valuations and negotiations
Perform strategic and financial analysis of potential acquisitions and divestitures
Financial modeling and deal structuring analysis for prospective transactions
Produce decision support to Essity's management and board

Key Competencies
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Law or related field, MBA or Master's degree in Finance preferred
Minimum of 5 to10 years of work experience with at least 3 to 5 years of experience in leading M&A transactions or similar projects
Accounting, financial as well as legal knowledge related to M&A
Experience in negotiating overall deal terms as well as legal contracts, together with internal and/or external legal experts
Business oriented and with ability to see the "big picture" in combination with a sense for details.
Excellent analytical skills and extensive experience in valuating businesses using DCF and other valuation techniques
Good communications skills, both written and verbal and ability to interact on both detailed and strategic level
Possibility to travel internationally
Fluent in English
