hela Sverige * Work tightly with Klarna's Commercial, Legal, Finance and Compliance departments in assessing and structuring large merchant deals.
• Identify potential improvements and broken parts from both underwriting and onboarding perspective, as well as negative impacts on other parts / departments within Klarna.
• Identifying, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics and underwriting strategies.
You are a go-to person that everyone wants to work with and at the same time love to deep dive into details when required. You have a Bachelor's degree in e.g. industrial engineering, finance or similar and a good knowledge within MS Office. If you also understand and write SQL queries in databases like PostgreSQL it is a plus!
Overall you're a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others. You are flexible and adaptable with strong integrity; able to work in ambiguous situations and under pressure. You of course you also have exceptional communication skills!

Merchant Strategic Underwriting is the department within Klarna's Credit Risk organization specialized in assessment of merchant related risks with primary focus on credit risk and regulatory compliance. In this role you would be identifying, analyzing and preparing risk mitigation tactics and underwriting strategies and be the go-to person for other departments within Klarna!
