hela Sverige The Risk department's main responsibility is to handle and mitigate Klarna's exposures to risk, primarily fraud and credit, and represent the risk perspective in cross-functional projects. The Merchant Decisions team assesses and controls merchant risks, enabled by data-driven analytics that our risk assessment models produce.
As a Merchant Risk Modeling Analyst you will work with state of the art technology to develop core risk assessment models and decision systems. You will also acquire a deep understanding of the payment industry with us, a growth company where challenges and opportunities abound.
Responsibilities
• Develop automated decision models that evaluate new merchants, to boost new sales growth while undertaking an appropriate level of risk
• Develop scalable risk control models that monitor existing merchants, to promptly assess risks and keep the exposure associated with merchants in check
• Perform database maintenance
You need to be innovative, and have the ability to see solutions where others see dead ends. You have an analytical and technical mindset, and like to work with large datasets. Developing models to analyze behaviors makes you tick. Work experience in this field is a plus but not a must.
Required qualifications
• Advanced SQL skills and basic Linux skills
• Statistical modeling techniques with R, SAS or other software alike
• Experience in programming languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby etc.
• Good team working skills
