We are now looking for a creative and communicative Merchandising developer to our Store planning and merchandising department at our head office in Insjön.
As Merchandising developer at Clas Ohlson you will develop, document and implement our merchandising concept, including lay-out and range presentation in order to maximize commerciality, inspiration and sales in supporting the overall objective of becoming the number one destination in solving everyday practical projects and small problems.
Clas Ohlson is a retail company listed on the stock exchange in Stockholm, Sweden. The operation consists of the sale of products for house and home, technology and hobbies. We sell by mail order/Internet and through the company's own retail outlets. We operate in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Great Britain and Germany. Our business concept is to sell products at competitive prices. We sell quality products and pride ourselves on a high level of customer service.
This is a temporary employment during one year, starting in March or according to agreement.
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for someone who has at least 2 years of relevant education within visual merchandising and/or retail management or at least 3 years of experience from qualified work within these segments. You have extensive merchandising experience in a retail environment - both lay-out, range presentation and store communication. Experience from working in project environment is a merit.
This role requires good leadership skills, ability to work on both strategic and tactical level and a creative ability to turn a "what" needs to be done into a "how". You follow trends and development within the area, have passion and interest of the market and like to share knowledge and experience with other co-workers within the organization. Furthermore, we want you to have good network and communication skills, with the ability to build good relationships with other departments within the company. Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written, are required for this position.
