Responsibilities
Investigate new solutions to improve performance, reliability or manufacturability
Perform 3D design and produce 2D drawings in Solid Works
Perform strength and fatigue analysis using FEM tools
Produce technical documentation, report engineering calculations and analysis work for 3rd party verification
Perform failure mode, effects and criticality analysis for modules and system
Manage your modules to meet performance, schedule and budget targets
Lead procurement activities including component and supplier selection, manufacturing and factory acceptance testing of modules
Support assembly and testing of modules
Skills and qualifications
You have relevant experience from developing mechanical systems and industrial equipment. Having worked with gearbox design or similar products or industries is a plus. You have a broad technical knowledge and genuine interest in the different aspects of machinery and mechanical design. Knowledge of hydraulics or electricity generation equipment is qualifying.
You may have a B.Sc or a M.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering or related disciplines in combination with experience and interest in the field. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.
