The Medical Affairs och Market Access function is looking for a Medical Science Liaison with strong business acumen and commercial interest. You will join a skilled team in a company where you can really make a difference.

What are we expecting from you?

As Medical Science Liaison, your main responsibility is to provide expert opinions and support for clinical, medical and scientific questions within the continence therapy areas and function as a speaking partner in development projects and for existing products. The Medical Science Liaison develops professional relationships with thought leaders and translates those relationships into business and research opportunities.

A selection of the role activities and responsibilities:
• Continuously monitor and analyze clinical, scientific and medical trends and potential within the therapy area, including competitor activities in the scientific field.
• Use expertise to identify business opportunities and explore unmet medical needs.
• Interpret and effectively communicate relevant medical and scientific topics and literature internally and externally.
• Support marketing and sales teams with medical and scientific expertise including scientific marketing presentation materials; eg. publications, blogposts, summaries etc.
• Support and facilitate medical och scientific communications and publications (e.g. abstracts, case studies/series, review articles, etc.).
• Contribute to development of a knowledge base of medical and scientific information driving business of existing products and therapies and new product development projects.
• Contribute to educational activities from a therapy and scientific viewpoint for internal and external use.
• Define and evaluate product related medical risks incl. HHEs, vigilance reports, PMS meetings and risk management.
• Identify, develop, and maintain strong working relationships with Key Opinion Leaders.
• Provide medical and scientific support for symposiums, advisory board programs, and congresses; Scientific input to symposias/congresses/ABs/Education.
• Assist clinical researchers in writing abstracts and publications related to Wellspect's products.
• Speaking partner and contributor in developing Clinical Evaluation and Clinical Investigations.
• Scientific intelligence management and PMCF surveys.

Background/Experience:
• Relevant medical/scientific degree on MSc level or higher (pref PhD).
• 3-5 years documented relevant experience.
• Experience in enterology, urology or related field preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team and relate to all levels within the company.
• Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals.
• Effectively managing one's time and resources to ensure that work is completed efficiently.
