hela Sverige As Medical Information and Patient Safety Officer you are responsible for managing medical information queries and pharmacovigilance tasks within the Nordic-Baltic organization. This includes managing enquires form physicians, pharmacist and patients, and reporting any Adverse Events and forward potential issues when needed.
As Customer Complaint Officer you handle customer complaints and ensure timely and efficient compliant handling in the Nordic-Baltic countries. The split between medical information, pharmacovigilance and customer complaint tasks is decided by the current company need.
Typical accountabilities for role
* Handles adverse events/SAEs from the Nordic-Baltic markets
* Responds to queries on pharmaceutical products from internal and external stakeholders. Tracks queries and responses through information management systems.
* Manages customer complaints from Nordic-Baltic countries
* Develops and maintains medical information, patient safety and complaint systems and procedures, as applicable
* Identifies potential quality issues within the complaints
* Communicates with local Competent Authority
* Follows local trends and legislations
* Identifies opportunities to improve processes and active contribution to continuous improvement within the function
* Assures tasks are of correct quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements and internal standards
* Contributes to the development of an effective team as well as of the department and positive attitude towards working and developing
Minimum experience / requirements
* Master of Science degree in pharmacy or equivalent
* Fluent in Swedish and excellent knowledge in English. Good understanding of the other Scandinavian languages is preferable.
* Structured, organized and have attention to detail
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
Preferred experience/requirements
* Experience from pharmacovigilance, medical information or similar work within the pharmaceutical industry, research, pharmacies or authorities
* Good understanding for patient safety environment
* Experience with Quality Control / Quality Assurance work
* Experience working on cross-functional teams
* Ability to collaborate externally and internally
* Ability to plan, communicate and drive processes
