You are a medical doctor with a specialty within the area of cardiology. If also specialist within internal medicine it is meritorious. It is desirably with working experience within the cardiology specialty.
The department of Internal Medicin and Geriatric Care is a developing clinic where we nurse patients who are in need of specialized internal medicine and geriatric rehabilitation. The clinic has a history of innovative, systematic and evidence-based quality management with patient needs in focus. The clinic is ISO-certified according to ISO 9001:2015 since 2014.
Our offer
As a specialist doctor at the Department of Cardiology you will be working at the inward with all kinds of cardiology patients (heart failure, ischemic heart disease, arrhythmias and valvular diseases). You will also take part at the reception for outdoor-patients which covers the same spectra of cardiology. You are also supposed to do echocardiography examinations. As a specialist doctor you are a front person who stand for good approach and good collaboration as well as in the clinic as in between the clinics at the hospital. If you have the interest of tutoring students there will be opportunities for that.

Eksjö is also being called "the unic wooden town" and is located at the highland of Småland. Here it is close to the nature with great running tracks and ski trails around the corner. The nature is wonderful and filled with various experiences for everyone. It is a great town with good schools for children of all ages and also a gymnasium for the elder ones. All with good reputation due to good results in education.
