The job
HemoCue develops, produces and markets hemoglobin, glucose/HbA1c, urine albumin and white blood cell count point of care systems to a variety of customer segments in more than 130 countries. The scope of the position leads to a number of situations and processes where HemoCue needs medical/clinical support to our marketing efforts and customer issues as well as internal support to Product Managers and R&D department.
The main tasks include
• Coordinate and guide Key Opinion Leaders and scientific committee activities
• Coordinate clinical abstracts and studies
• Support internal stakeholders e.g. Product managers with clinical/medical insight
• Be the point of reference for medical/clinical issues in internal processes e.g. vigilance meetings, R&D steering committees and Sales and Marketing issues.
Qualifications
• Medical degree with extensive experience within diabetes and/or hematologyor PhD inclinical chemistry or equivalent with focus on diabetes and/or hematology
• A post doctorate at university including significant body of publications in at least one relevant clinical field
• Clinical experience from university and/or medical care setting e.g. hospital or general practice
• Strong team player attitude and ability to work in a cross functional setting
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proficient computer skills
• Ability to adapt and be productive in a business setting

• Develop and maintain good relationship within the organization
• Take leadership at various team meetings
• Develop and maintain good relationship with external Key Opinion Leaders and select scientific committees
• Quickly establish professional relationship with clinical contact persons at key customers when needed
