What are we looking for?
Casumo continues to grow, and the marketing team, based at the headquarters in Malta, is looking for a talented Media Lead with corporate experience purchasing media for multiple locations. This is a key position within Casumo and reports to the Chief Marketing Officer/Country Manager.The Media Lead will assume full responsibility for the development of media strategies and building awareness for Casumo internationally.
The main responsibility of the Media Lead is continuous building and strengthening of the Casumo brand in each local market. He or she will be in charge of medias for all international markets with the help of multiple creative agency partners. The overall objective of Casumo is to become the #1 brand in the minds of the consumers in all current and future markets where Casumo is present.
The job:
Responsible for developing media strategies, media buying and planning initiatives.
Devising plans for media buying, placing ads, and ensuring ad buying stays within budget.
Manage the media agencies on all markets, ensuring their activities bring added value to the branding and advertising program.
Lead the strategic direction and media planning for Casumo to deliver the appropriate brand equity and behaviour metrics.
Providing strategy and giving direction and support to the media agency.
Optimize media channel including radio, TV, digital, etc.
Coordinate launch of media campaigns with the Brand Lead.
Monitor and optimize effectiveness of campaigns.
Negotiate rates with media sales companies to obtain most competitive prices.
Skills and experience required:
University degree, preferably with a major in Advertising or Marketing.
Fluent English in speech and writing.
Min of 5 + years of advertising experience – on Client side.
Min of 5 + years of experience in all forms of ATL media including digital, radio, TV, etc.
Having both agency and client-side experience is a plus.
Must be proficient in understanding customer buyer behaviours, tendencies, as well as all areas of marketing channels and messaging.
Experience of purchasing media for multiple locations
Experience working with large media budgets.
Strength in MS PowerPoint presentation creation, and MS Excel modelling
Numerate and able to analyse and prepare strategic plans.
