About the Role
You will join a small, collaborative team working with floor saw and soff-cut products, where ideas are valued, responsibility is shared, and different perspectives matter. This is a broad engineering role for someone who enjoys seeing the full picture and wants to work close to both the product and the technology behind it.
The role covers both product maintenance and new product development across the full lifecycle. You will contribute from early concepts and design discussions through testing, refinement and finished machines. Working at the intersection of mechanics, electronics and software, you will help shape complete system solutions that are both innovative and practical.
Because the work is varied and often hands-on, you will combine analytical engineering with practical problem-solving and close collaboration across disciplines. Job DescriptionYou will contribute to both product maintenance and new product development for floor saw and soff-cut machines.
You will help define and improve complete system solutions involving mechanics, electronics and software.
You will take part in concept work, design discussions, testing, analysis and refinement all the way to finished products.
You will work with machine and functional architecture to support robust and practical engineering decisions.
You will drive more complex assignments independently while collaborating closely with engineers from different disciplines.
You will work with embedded control systems and system-level thinking to dimension and control complete machines.
You will support both the team's own product area and other product groups when needed.
RequirementsAt least five years of experience within the field.
Ability to drive more complex assignments independently.
Experience with, or knowledge in, several of the following areas: machine and functional architecture, embedded control systems, CAN/J1939, data collection and analysis, functional safety, mechanical engineering, CAD, and MATLAB/Simulink.
Comfort working across different technologies and understanding how mechanics, electronics and software interact in a complete system.
You work in an analytical and structured way and enjoy solving technical problems.
You are curious, hands-on and genuinely interested in machines and how they work.
You are flexible and comfortable supporting different product groups when needed.
Professional working proficiency in English and Swedish.
