Tasks and responsibilities:
Responsibilities
As a Mechatronic Engineer your main responsibility is development of company products (mechanical and electrical parts) in global project as a part of a cross functional project team. You are a part of the whole process from idea to industrialization and further on the maintenance throughout the product life cycle with the main tasks related to mechanical design. Common tasks include analyzing engineering sketches, specifications and related data to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of parts. Evaluation and approvement of design changes and releases are also a part of your responsibility as well as ensuring compliance in production with design specifications. You also assist drafting, the test lab, manufacturing, quality and planning with setting up equipment or as required. The development is mainly driven in project forms but solitaire initiatives and working on your own is frequent.
You will work in close collaboration with the manufacturing team in Poznan, Poland and Zhuhai, China and other manufacturing sites. As you work with people in different time zones you need to be comfortable to work with flexible working hours. Some travelling will occur especially to Poland. You report to the Head of Cash Management Solutions.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
Qualifications, experiences, and personal characteristics
• At least B.Sc. degree in Engineering
• Strong familiarity with product development of products consisting of mechanics, electronics and software
• Good experience of working with Creo for mechanical development
• Familiar with PLM/PDM systems as well as project tools like Workfront
• Hands on and familiar with setting up test equipment and know your way around in at test environment
• Excellent in English written and oral. Swedish is preferred but not a requirement

To succeed in this role, you need to be able to work independent and be self-motivated. You must be comfortable working in a constant changing multi-cultural high pace environment. As you work with all levels of the organization and are a part of virtual teams there is a high demand on your collaboration skills.
