Objectives
The objective for the role is to generate, evaluate, analyze and develop design concepts for mechanic systems, components and assemblies to achieve new product requirements and current product improvements. We are looking for an experienced leader, who has a strong drive, high ambitions and a strong determination to succeed, who also have successfully driven projects in the area of Mechanic Product Development.
Key operational responsibilities
Lead, motivate and develop a team of specialists
Increase the mechanic Innovation rate by efficient and creative team and re-use of innovations globally
Create mechanic design options to meet design specifications, manufacturing processes and assembly requirements
Test and evaluate mechanic designs and concepts to meet the specified function/feature, quality and cost targets
Complete assigned tasks to schedule, within budget, meeting all technical specifications and customer requirements
Reporting to
Head of Global R&D Dish Care
Competences needed
Academic degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent combined with several years of relevant working experience
Strong leadership and management skills with experience in running projects internationally
Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively communicate at all levels of an organization
Entrepreneurial drive, business minded and result driven
Excellent English verbal, writing and presentation skills
Willingness to travel
Experience in Agile methodologies is desirable
High degree of computer proficiency with MSOffice, Catia and/or other CAD as well as FEA analysis tools
