Job Description:
As part of the RnD department, you will have a key role in Gapwaves mission of leveraging innovative technologies to deliver advanced antenna solutions.
As a mechanical validation engineer you will work across the different project teams to develop and execute validation plans for mechanical measurements on part level and for the final assembled product. You will work with validation strategies both at the suppliers and in our in-house laboratory facility.

Responsibilities :
Mechanical measurements and verification of parts and assembled antennas against specification
Maintaining in-house laboratory mechanical measurement equipment
Developing best practice measurement and analysis methods to be used in research and development projects
Working with suppliers to verify their validation strategies and reports for our parts
Quality assurance of products
Required Qualifications:
University degree in mechanical engineering, materials engineering or similar.
Experience with high precision mechanical measurements
Experience with statistical quality control in validation
Proficiency in English
Exceptional interest and drive in leading development and technical excellence.
Meriting Qualifications:
Experience with mechanical specification drawings
Experience setting-up and maintaining laboratory equipment
Experience working with high volume products
Experience with point scanning measurements, 3D optical measurements, environmental testing
Six sigma or similar statistical tools
Skills:
