Manpower are now looking for a mechanical technician for our client CorPower Ocean AB. You will take an important role in the construction and testing a full scale wave energy converter. You will work in a dynamic enviroment and be a part of a mission to bring reliable and competitive wave energy to the world.

Manpower are now looking for a mechanical technician for our client CorPower Ocean AB. You will take an important role in the construction and testing a full scale wave energy converter. You will work in a dynamic enviroment and be a part of a mission to bring reliable and competitive wave energy to the world. You will be employed by Manpower and work as a consultant at CorPower Ocean AB. Your workplace is in Stockholm and you will work fulltime Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities/Skills and qualifications

As a mechanical technician you take an important role in the construction and testing of a full scale wave energy converter.

* Assemble mechanical units, fabricated parts/components to make sub-assemblies, assemblies or complete units using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures and miscellaneous equipment.

* Follow safety rules and keep work area in a clean and orderly condition

* Other job duties related to the integration work



You have at least two years of experience of mechanical assemble of large/heavy equipment. You have a passion for technology and machines in general.

You have the ability to learn and follow the clients specific assembly procedures. You possess sufficient computer skills for reporting test, reading control data, drawings. You should have fair knowledge of rules and safety instructions

You may have an advanced degree, but your personality, experience and interest in the field is the most important. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written.

Other skills that would be relevant:

* Used of non-motorized (pallet jack, devil...) or motorized (forklift, telehandler, overhead crane)
* Driving license B
