Would you like to be a part of our team to develop top modern technical solutions for complete train connection systems?We are looking for an Engineer with strong analytical skills and technical understanding.

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer within the RAMS/LCC department you analyze and provide our customers with information about the products Reliability, Availability, Maintainability and Safety aspects. You ensure that the RAMS/LCC requirements and data are communicated and incorporated into the design of our products. You perform analyses such as FMECA, Maintenance, Hazard analyses etc. and give support in project risk assessment.

As a Mechanical Systems Engineer you participate in technical negotiations with suppliers and customers. Internally you collaborate with different departments - with Sales in the Bid Management phase, with Engineering in development and customer projects and with Customer Service in analyzing return of experience.

In this position you will work with a broad range of products within train connection systems, both with couplers and gangways.

You will be placed in Vika, Falun and be part of the team for RAMS/LCC & CAE. You report to Group Manager RAMS/LCC & CAE.

The successful candidate will have the following profile
Education & Job experiences:

• Master of Science in Engineering or equivalent qualifications

It 's advantageous if you have prior experience in some of the following areas:

• Product development & design
• RAMS/LCC
• Risk analysis, for example FMEA/FMECA
• Requirements management
• Systems engineering
• Verification and Validation

Personal skills:

• Good technical understanding and well developed analytical skills
• Team orientated with good interpersonal skills and cooperation with colleagues and other departments
• Well organized, highly motivated for the job and with an open attitude
• Fluent in spoken and written English, preferably also Swedish
