About the job
We offer an interesting job opportunity within Business Unit Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers for you who enjoy working with new products in a global market. You will be based in the R&D team working with the development of new Brazed Heat Exchanger products in Lund.
As a Mechanical Specialist, you will work in close cooperation with Development Engineers, Thermal Specialists, other Mechanical Specialists, and Pressure Vessel Code Engineers. You will have international contacts.
Key tasks:
Participate in development projects where you will take the lead on mechanical design or support with mechanical simulation, analysis, and recommendations.
Perform product failure analysis and recommendations on solutions or product design improvements.
Act as business support in mechanically related questions.
Develop and document our simulation methodologies.
Keep up to date on best practices in simulation and analysis methods as well as relevant PV regulations.
Who are you?
You hold a university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Computational Mechanics, or similar and you have 5+ years of working experience. A Ph.D. in a relevant field is appreciated.
We think that you:
Have working experience in Structural mechanics, Numerical analysis, and Material knowledge.
Are skilled in FEA simulations (we use ANSYS).
Can use 3D CAD software on a basic level.
Have a basic understanding of European PV code requirements.
To succeed in this role, we see that you are structured, analytical, and clear in your communication and you have a genuine interest in constantly improving your knowledge and skills within your working field.
Since you will work with colleagues and customers in an international environment, you should be fluent in written and spoken English.
