hela Sverige Your main task is mechanical design of traction motors within our R&D and order projects. In the beginning you will be guided by a senior engineer in each project, but we expect that you want and are able to become more and more independent. Our e-mobility activity is growing and you may soon have new colleagues that need your guidance and support.
You will also be involved in mechanical conceptual design for quotations, including supporting sales in customer interactions. This means contacts with global customers and ABB entities.
To be suitable for this role you hold a university degree in Engineering, specializing in product development and mechanical design, together with a general technical understanding and interest. We believe you have good knowledge of mechanical design utilizing modern 3D tools and possibly FEM analysis. It is beneficial if you have previous experience from working with rotating machines and/or the vehicle industry.
As you will be working in a global, multicultural environment, you are fluent in English, written and spoken alike, whereas knowledge of Swedish is preferred. It is important with high level of cooperation skills with different people and cultures. You are result oriented and deliver agreed results on time.
