Publiceringsdatum2019-11-06ArbetsuppgifterThe main responsibility of a Mechanics lab engineer is to define test methodology and perform test on mechanics as special area but also in all other parts needed.
• Responsibility for establishing appropriate test methods that test all requirements in actual design or concept specifications.
o meet all functional requirements
o Design and build needed test rigs and/or equipment.
o Perform test according to established test methods.
o Perform needed long duration tests according to valid specification to ensure robustness, quality and functionality over time.
o Systematically evaluate test results to guarantee that a correct decision can be made.
o Suggest improvements of current design based on test and evaluation result.
o Support suppliers, production and Designers with information to facilitate production/assembly of external mechanics.
o Perform validation of new materials.
ProfilYou have an M.Sc or B.Sc in mechanical engineering and at least 3 years of experience as a test / labengineer. You also have Documented experience in using labWiev or similar, and proven experience in writing report and documentation. You have no problem in doing presentations to OEMs and visit OEM suppliers if needed.
You are a good team member, but you can also work by yourself. Since VSM is an international company, fluent English, both written and spoken is no issue to you.
