Our rollers (both soil and asphalt) are used in road construction working areas all around the world, normally in very harsh environments with high demands on safety, reliability and productivity. You will be working in the Heavy Compaction Design & Development department with mechanical design from requirements specification to verified solution.
We work in close cooperation with the other departments within the product company, but will also work globally, together with the other product companies to create synergy and standardization in our product offering worldwide.
Expectations are high regarding innovative and cost efficient solutions.
You report to the team leader and to project management.
Among the tasks:
• Develop efficient and state of the art design solutions within mechanical design.
• Establish documentation/drawings for production and purchasing
• Establishing requirement specifications
• Work with risk assessment, e g FMEA and CE
• Perform dimensioning, theoretical verification and in some cases practical verification
• Be the technical representative for supplier interaction

Experience requirements
Design of Mechanical systems and selection components
Experience within mechanical design using 3D CAD, preferably Creo (former Pro Engineer)
Establishment of technical requirement specifications
Competence and knowledge within one of the following technical areas is valuable.
• Drivers environment and HMI (Human Machine Interface).
• Engine installation
• Design of parts with complex surface geometry
Knowledge
It is important that you have a good knowledge of English, both in written and spoken form.
Educational requirements
Bachelor or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Personality requirements

You have a strong ability to work in teams, both local and international teams but also to independently pursue issues within your own area of responsibility.
