As Mechanical plant Engineering Manager you will be a member of Center of Competence for Power Quality Solutions, managing and coaching a team of 20 experienced mechanical plant engineers.
Your responsibilities
You will coach and support the team and individuals and be liable for the competence development
Manage, both strategically and operationally, the appropriate use of technical and human resources
Ensure on time delivery of engineering activities and conduct quality of deliverables in tenders and projects
Follow up budget
Process adherance and improvements
It is important that the Mechanical Engineering Manager can take the initiative and apply both creativity and perseverance to explain and implement the necessary changes and actions
You will be living Hitachi ABB Power Grids core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business
Your background
You hold a degree in Electrical / Mechanical or Civil Engineering
You have good knowledge in PLM and CAD tools
At least 10 years of experience in project business
Strong leadership, communication and people skills with high focus on internal and external customers and their needs
You like to work in international and multicultural environment
You bring great knowledge in the field of engineering
Fluency in English is required, both written and spoken
