Your role
We will, in the long term, build your expertise on Fuzes, as we cannot expect knowledge and experience in the profession. Our ambition is that you will enjoy the work, stay in the company for a long time, and build expertise. In order to achieve this we except that you are committed and interested in studies in this profession of technology. Innovation is something we value highly within Dynamics.
You will work with design and development, which means that you follow products throughout the life cycle, from idea to finished product. To keep the product's quality over time the care and maintenance is also an important part of our work. The work is characterized by you taking responsibility for our commitments, which also gives the freedom to plan our own work. You will also perform verification and qualification tests in both lab and at proving ground environment, which means that your work will be very varied.

Your profile
Our products consist of Mechanics, Electronics and explosives,, therefore, it is good if you have a prior professional experience in any of these fields.
Skills:
* Bachelor or masters degree in engineering.
* Experience of 3D-CAD tool.
* Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, verbal and written.
This position requires that you will be approved in a security screening in accordance with the Swedish Protective Security Act.
What you will be a part of
Dynamics is a business area within Saab that offers support weapons, missiles, torpedoes, sensors, unmanned underwater vehicles, camouflage systems and defense market training systems. The product portfolio also includes products for the civil security market, such as remote controlled underwater vessels for the oil industry and nuclear power plants.
The mechanics department consists of about 150 employees divided into three offices. Two of them are in Karlskoga and one in Linköping. The department for Warhead and Fuze is located in Karlskoga. Within the department, we work with development and design of warhead and Fuze and also in most of the Saab Dynamics product areas.
The Fuze is a part of our products that ensure that the warhead is initiated if all the arming conditions are activated. Thus, one of the most important component of our products reliability and performance.
