About the job:

FlexQube is innovating cart-based material handling to meet customers increasing demand for safe, flexible, and efficient material handling. They are working with the most prominent and demanding customers worldwide and are focusing on the development of modular carts and autonomous robots. FlexQube offers you the opportunity to take a lot of responsibility in a fast-growing company acting in a fast-growing market of warehouse and factory automation. FlexQube have their HQ in Gothenburg, Sweden where they also have production and the technology team.
Tasks and responsibilities:
At FlexQube, you will be responsible for the mechanical development of new and existing products, including design for manufacturing, and assembling. You will be part of a fast-growing cross functional team including software, hardware, and system engineers. This is a role for a person with high analytical skills, but you should also like to work hands on in order to test and improve products.
• Manage mechanical design from requirement to complete product
• Understand customer user cases and requirements
• Analyzing and solving problems in a structured way
• Develop new building blocks, products, and production concepts
• Optimize product design based on manufacturing, assembly, and cost targets
• Build and evaluate prototypes
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
• Engineering education in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience in a relevant field
• Experience with Autodesk Inventor and/or Auto CAD
• Experience in mechatronics, simulations and calculations is meritorious prototype and small series manufacturing is meritorious
• Fluent English both in speech and writing, Swedish is highly meritorious

You take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy, and enthusiasm.
