The Homogenization & High Pressure Pumping Department at Tetra Pak Processing Components is now recruiting a Mechanical Engineer to work in our Technical Support. The brand name for our portfolio of homogenizers and high pressure pumps for liquid food is Tetra Alex . Homogenization is a process that effectively reduces the size of solid particles and liquid globules, improving the quality and stability of the treated product. Tetra Alex homogenizers and high pressure pumps are specially designed for food applications.
As a Mechanical Engineer you will work independently as well as a part of a team with technical support and technical investigations. Claim handling and investigations will be a part of your daily work. You will on a daily basis work close to our Market Companies all over the world with technical issues and support.
You will work in a dynamic organization where you as a member of our engineering and development team also will have close contact with our production and our marketing team. The position includes approximately 50 travelling days/year.
Main responsibilities
• Technical support to customers
• Drive and coordinate technical investigations
• Claim handling and support
• Coordinate field tests and field investigations
• Technical training for customers and service staff
Qualifications
As a person you have a strong personal drive to deliver. You have a strong and wide technical interest and your technical curiosity makes you solve problems in a persevering way. You will have to be able to handle a variety of technical support tasks at the same time under time pressure. You are a team player and able to communicate with external and internal stakeholders in a supportive way.
The successful candidate possesses a Technical University degree within Mechanical Engineering combined with at least three years from Mechanical Engineering. Fluent in English, both oral and written is mandatory.
